"Patronised, no reassurance and failure to..."

I attended Westbourne Avenue at 3am on the 10th August 2016 with my week old baby boy after being referred by the NHS 111 service. My labour with him unfortunately ended up an emergency c section but not before my waters had been broken and a scalp electrode been inserted to monitor my son's heartbeat. All of these procedures had left three small head wounds which had got progressively bigger and more severe looking since our hospital stay but on top of that, three more blister like lesions had appeared, pointing to there being some kind of infection. When my partner and I arrived, the GP called us in straight away. They checked our sons heart rate and pulse, *literally* shrugged when I asked what the problem might be, told us it "might" clear up on it's own, then advised I see my GP the following week to inquire about post natal depression as I was getting so upset about my (again, week old) baby! It was a £10 taxi journey for absolutely nothing but mysoginistic patronisation and, of course, since then more lesions have come up which, as yet, we are no closer to discovering the cause of or what threat it could potentially pose to such a new baby. Thanks for nothing.
