"When will I get any help?"

About: Let's Talk Well Being Leicestershire and Rutland

I was referred to iapt after an attempt to take my life. I had to wait 2 months before I was contacted to have an over the phone interview after this I was told someone would be in touch with me to arrange further help, 3 months went by and I had still not heard from anyone. I tried to call on numerous occasions but the line either went to a voicemail saying to call back later or was told someone would get in touch with me, eventually I was told over the phone I was referred back to my go to refer me to personality disorder? Which in itself was a shock to hear over the phone with no other info. Now another month had gone by until my gp has made a further referral. It's been 5 months since I tried to take my life I am still feeling severely depressed, when will I finally be able to gets y help or should I just give up.
