"I can only give 100% to Pilgrim Hospital"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I had a right knee arthroscopy at Pilgrim Hospital.  I was asked for feed back via text and felt somewhat mean as I only scored 2. On reflection this was unfair as it was not based on the care received on the day of the operation but was more to do with many issues stemming from the GP Surgery as it took approx. 9 months to sort out the problem due to silly referrals to the wrong depts. / people in the initial stages. I gave up at one point continued to swallow pain killers and it was only due to fantastic nursing staff who noticed that my medication intake had increased and a GP (Dr Sinha ) who not only knows what he is doing but takes the time to listen and understand that I got me back on track.

I can only give 100% to Pilgrim Hospital in respect of the way my operation went on the day fantastic. Nursing staff again worked so hard to ensure the best clinical care and as importantly in my opinion they cared and took time took to make sure everyone was OK a great team in all the dept I went to. I must add I feel privileged to have met and been looked after by the anaesthetist and his assistant what a great guy again as with the GP he took the time to listen and he knows his job a big thank you. Finally I would like to thank Dr Heaton and just say what a great team at Pilgrim Day Case Unit thank you all.
