"Breast cancer care"

About: The Maidstone Hospital

At the start of the year I was diagnosed with breast cancer - I had chemo, surgery and am about to have radiography: all the staff have been truly amazing. I've cried throughout the last six months and was made to feel that it's ok to cry. My surgeon and the breast nurses and doctor and team are absolutely the best! They really do care!! These women are people inspiring and brilliant and worked alongside the consultant for my chemo. Without them I would probably be dead by now. Thank you for saving my life! You're all wonderful!

Dear Michelle

Thank you for taking the time to review the breast care unit at Maidstone Hospital. We were so pleased to read that the staff empathised with your situation and you felt supported throughout your treatment. I hope you continue to recover and thank you once again for sharing your experience about what must have been a very anxious time for you. Your thanks will be passed onto the Matron for the department to share with all the staff. With kind regards, the PALS team
