"My recent stay on Station 7 Ayr Hospital"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I had a very positive experience and was very impressed by the quality of service. Staff were competent and caring - I was particularly impressed by the sensitive way in which they handled dementia patients. There was a friendly atmosphere on the ward - very good for patient morale - and staff seemed to work very well as a team. ( I had a similar experience on Station 3 a few weeks ago but was too anxious too fully appreciate it. ) A stay in hospital has little to commend it but, in my recent experience at least, Ayr Hospital has a lot to be commended.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.
