I was impressed by the high standard of care.
Ward staff were friendly, helpful, courteous, efficient, and very very kind. The consultant approached me in person to explain the reason for an understandable delay, and their skill as a surgeon can be judged from the fact that I have had no reason to use the pain relief medication I was given on discharge. The anaesthetist put me instantly at ease at our pre-op meeting.
Everyone treated me with great respect and consideration and explained clearly and sympathetically what was going on at the time, and what I must expect after I went home.
I have only praise for all concerned, both on the ward and in the theatre.
