"Perfect place to give birth"

About: New Forest Birth Centre Ha

New Forest Birth Centre is a home away from home with easy access and plenty of free parking. I am a first-time mum and I arrived at the birth centre after labouring for ten hours at home and spent ten more hours labouring in one of the birth suites. During labour I was able to walk around the gardens (next to fields with grazing animals) and enjoy the facilities in the suite which included a birthing chair and rope (which I found really helpful during labour), mood lighting, and a birthing pool (which I had planned to use but didn't get in). The staff were really supportive and I felt very comfortable and confident through-out labour. My wife and mum were welcomed by the staff during labour, and my wife was able to stay with me and our newborn in a private room for the first night after the birth. We stayed for almost two days and the staff were wonderful at helping with breastfeeding and bathing our newborn. We enjoyed hot home-cooked lunch meals and were able to bring in a take-away in the evening. Our friends and family were also able to visit us at the centre. We had also attended an antenatal workshop at the New Forest Birth Centre where we learnt some really valuable information that helped us in the pre-natal and labour stages. We would certainly recommend the New Forest Birth Centre for anyone looking for a calm and relaxing environment with minimal intervention. We can't thank the staff enough for the wonderful experience we had at the centre.
