"Day case"

About: Kettering General Hospital

Having never previously been admitted to a hospital, the nurses were all so friendly and more than willing to support me through the whole process. They made sure that i was kept up to date about what was going to be happening throughout my stay. all of the groups of people that worked with me, the nurses, recovery room team and anaesthetists were all so lovely and reassuring, a true credit to KGH. The main nurse who looked after me had a student nurse working alongside them, and although shy they too did a good job of looking after me and making me more comfortable, but more so, less scared. Although reasons for being on the Maple ward weren't ideal, i couldn't have asked for a nicer team to make the process any easier. Thank you again for making the procedure just that little bit more bareable.

It is with great pleasure that I respond to your comments on NHS Choices regarding the care you received while on Maple ward at Kettering Hospital in August 2016

We work very hard as a team to provide individualised care to all women we care for to ensure they have a positive experience at a time which can at times be upsetting and traumatic.

We are really pleased to have achieved this for you and your comments will be shared with the team; it means a lot to them all to hear that their dedicated work is very much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time provide us with your feedback
