"I have just endured another extremely ..."

What could be improved

I have just endured another extremely painful mammogram. I specifically asked my consultant if pain relief could be provided. She also recommended that I received the result at the time . Neither available.

I find it hard to believe that such simple requests, which could have saved me a lot of distress(and an outpatient appointment)could not be met.I am extremely loath to return for further follow -up

Anything else?

switch off the TV in the Stanley Cohen unit and provide soothing music !! not screeching daytime soaps....
