"Diagnosis of cancer in my kidney and further treatment"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Oncology

(as the patient),

The diagnosis was explained in full by the Consultants and care was taken to explain the options available for treatment. Surgery to remove my affected kidney was provided with short stays in Buckland ward. Further procedures to successfully remove tumours in my bladder resulted in an all-clear prognosis. A programme of BCG treatment is on-going and further cystoscopy procedures included the removal of a kidney stone in the remaining kidney. Over the two years that I have been under the care of ESH I cannot fault the care and treatment I have received from all the nursing staff. I am entirely grateful for every aspect of my treatment.
