"A and E visit"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Our one year old had to be taken to A & E on Sunday evening as he cut his finger that needed gluing. The reception area was very slow with one person working there.

Despite this a nurse very quickly attended to us and our son was seen and treated, the care was professional, at no point did we feel rushed, the nursing staff listened and gave us guidance on how to keep the wound clean. They also encouraged us to return if we needed any help with dressing the wound should our son pull it off. Fantastic nursing staff and great care!

Dear Hayley, thanks for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience at the RLI. We're really pleased to that your son was treated speedily and that staff looked after you well. Thanks again and best wishes for his recovery.
