"Waiting rooms for injections"

About: Royal Orthopaedic Hospital

After being placed in a much larger room to give and confirm information about my injection, I was then taken to a very small room that was over crowded and also freezing cold, with hardly any staff to find near by I had to adventure just to find someone to ask for the aircon to be turned down after I was freezing cold in there, only to find that there was nobody in the room I was previously in a far more comfortable environment than the waiting room I have been sitting uncomfortably in. Due to the aircon being on so high not only was I very tense for my injection I also had a terrible headache from sitting for 2/3 hours in this closet like room. With no updates on how long the injections were going to be and how far delayed they were I had such a terrible feeling about my day today.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. I wonder whether you might be willing to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service to give us full details so we can investigate what went wrong? You can contact them on roh-tr.pals@nhs.net or 0121 685 4128

Thanks and best wishes
