being a diabetic entering the hospital via A&E at 22 pm with pains in the stomach going on a ward was not given an diabetic tablets or any attention until 15:00 the day after because they said that i was confused to tell them what was wrong with me then the spoke to my daughter during visiting time, i his daughter arrived at visiting time to find one of my friends bringing my dad back to the ward after being let to leave the ward in his bed ware and slippers to go downstairs and cross two dual carriageways and go on a multi storey car park and the security guard and my friend to bring him back the ward.When i saw my dad at the nurses station i asked him had he had any of his tablets he said he was going home by this i knew he was confused because i have seen this before in him so i told the nurse he was a diabetic and had he had his tablets the nurse stated no they would look so i said he needs his tablets Then the doctor came shut the curtains and asked how long has he been like this (confused) as he could not get any information out of my dad and my dad couldn't tell them why he was in hospital.then i told the doctor he needs some of his tablets i stated again he is a diabetic by this time i was losing my temper i asked them can they read as all the information and his prescription was handed in in A&E so they send a mental health Doctor the doctor asked again how long has he been like this so i said eve since you lot go your hands on him they tested him for a stroke so informed the doctor that he is a diabetic he needs his tablets the doctor then went away come back and stated they had written his tablets up but to have no tablets for 15hrs and to think he could have been knocked down trying to cross the road in his state does not bear thinking about,. they told me he was confused so why did the let him leave the ward and didn't give him anything to eat as the lad in the next bed told me he had not eaten all day. he had no sleep was kept awake the biggest part night he is so traumatized he does not want to come back to this Hospital.
