"A follow up appointment"

I attended cobalt hospital today for a follow up appointment, I arrived at 15 10 for a 15 20 appointment to see the consultant the receptionist confirmed my appointment and asked me to take a seat and I would be seen to. At 15 50 I approached the receptionist to ask about the delay only to be told that they were trying to contact the above named doctor as they did not know where the doctor was. If this is the service provided by the privately owned cobalt hospital I for one will not be visiting this hospital again, my main gripe being why wasn't, I told when I arrived that there would be a delay, if I hadn't approached reception to ask about the delay I wonder how long it would have been before I was informed. This was a very unprofessional outlook to patients, I await feed back from the cobalt regarding another appointment and an explanation but

I am not going to hold my breath

Thank you for your feedback.

Following on from your telephone conversation with our Administration Lead last week where she explained the reason to you, I would like to pass on my apologies for this, it is very unusual for this situation to have occurred.

I can confirm that it is a rare occurrence and one which we are very sorry for.

Donna Thornton, General Manager
