"Deeply dissatisfied with care in hospital"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

My husband is currently in medway recieving treatment. I have been appaulled by how staff on ward fail to introduce themselves or even fail to simply say hello on entering his room. The lack of simple attentiveness as an offer of a coffee and when he asked for one being told to "be a patient patient my lovely". He didnt recieve one until the following morning despite being on ward from 3.30pm. The today, to my total distress, i find he has firstly been told to bring his own basic pain relief into hosptial as they do not have it in stock! And just to top it with all calamities, find out his nurse is unable to read the protocal to follow for his treatment seriously jepardyising his health. Is it any wonder the hospital is in this state when basic care cannot even be provided? I am seriously concerned for the continued care my husband is to recieve. I cannot wait for him to be released home. Please any one reading this avoid this hospital.
