"Review of Ambulance Service and Casualty"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Yesterday my 71 year old mother got rushed into Casualty.

The service she received from start to finish was absolutely second to none.

The ambulance came within minutes, both the paramedics were amazing, thorough and professional they kept us completely informed of what was happening and what was going to happen.

On arrival to Hull Royal my mum was immediately sent to casualty, they had already booked her room.

She was given a thorough examination with the relevant treatment started quickly.

I have to say both the doctor and the nurse were incredible and even though other emergencies were going on they still made sure my mum was comfortable and getting the care that she needed.

Then the transport staff came to transfer her to Castlehill due to her condition, again lovely, lovely people who made the transfer smooth and easy.

I have been a critic of the NHS and Hull Royal Infirmary in the past, but yesterday the care my mum received was second to none and the facility they have at Hull Royal is amazing.

On behalf of my mum, Jean, and the rest of our family thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
