"Uncaring service"

About: Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

My son was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia approx. 9 yrs go.

He moved from Wales to Cornwall be near his Mum, after being sectioned on two occasions and self harming so seriously he is lucky to be alive.........When moving from Wales where he received excellent care, he was under section 117 which means that he is entitled to 'support' for life if needed....And this includes Cornwall!

After 5 yrs of managing 'mostly' to support him between us, and the CMHT giving him regular visits which kept in barely in tow- (although these tailed off ) and myself doing my utmost to support him, the CMHT decided in their wisdom to discharge him.....What a joke! The reason why he was sectioned in the first place was because he was non-compliant, he can be very cunning to disguise this but aren't these supposed to be professional people?............So guess what he is not now taking his medication and is quite honestly a complete nightmare.

He can't cope with society and society cant cope with him.

He is abusive and aggressive (unknowingly) and spends his life moving around because neighbors and people generally will not tolerate his behaviour.

This is at great expense to myself as no-one seems to care or want to help!!

Remember he is non-compliant so he will not ask for help himself.

Recently he was attacked with a knife and his neck was slashed, lucky to be alive again. So well done you lot! What a joke......................
