"Disgusting treatment and rude staff"

About: University Hospital Aintree

My husband arrived at the a&e dept at 9pm and are still waiting, its 1am. They left him in the waiting room coughing up blood and shortness of breath. The triage nurse was rude and could see that he was getting worse. We eventually got took through to see a doctor, who has been very nice so far but the nursing staff look at you like you're scum. I asked for a fan as he is burning up and they turned their nose up at me and walked away.I know it's a busy dept but the attitude is terrible. We were at the royal on Monday, same symptoms and the staff were great but unfortunately discharged him when they probably shouldn't have done. It's worrying enough when your family is ill and you don't know what's wrong but bedside manner is key in this profession which is something the nursing staff at Aintree don't have at all.
