I was referred to the Breast clinic after finding a lump. I was seen in a week from the doctors appointment and was extremely anxious when the day finally came round.
I arrived at 3.45 for a 4.00 pm appointment and was seen at 3.55. I was taken straight to get changed into a gown and then after 5 minutes had my mammogram. The nurse was informative and made me feel at ease. From here I went straight for an ultra sound scan. The nurse made me feel at ease and the doctor was with me after about 10 minutes. Fortunately it was diagnosed as a cyst and was drained then and there. I then went to see the consultant who went through the results and did another examination of both breasts.
Fantastic service, polite helpful staff who made what was was an anxious time, bearable.
"Excellent top class service"
