"Clinic starting 45 min late regularly."

About: Princess Royal University Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

PRUH hospital in Orpington. Orthopaedic/ Trauma clinic outpatients There are now 8 patients waiting for clinic to begin. Should have started at 8 but now 8. 45 and no doctors have arrived.

This also happened last time I attended. Staff do not know why appointments are made early if no one will be here. I have been advised that doctors may be on the wards and when they eventually turn up there may be s few of them.

This was not the case last time when one doctor arrived clearly coming from outside.

When I queried whether the doctor was late again The receptionist went to get someone else to reassure me that they had no idea when clinic would start!
