Too frequently you are processed (out) of the surgery with an overriding attitude that is not patient centred; in fact it is hard to see what the key ethos of this well established practise is. Even more so is the lack of concern for families and a more holistic approach to concerns raised with surgery personnel. Some things may take time, such as home visits and follow up appointments but these are too frequently not offered.
