"shockingly bad maternity care."

About: Manor Hospital

I would advise all parents to be to avoid this hospital. I had my first child 7years ago and my care was fantastic however roll on to 2015/2016 with my third child and i received no care/respect. Numerous times I left in tears. I was shouted at for missing an appointment when i didn't i had in fact rebooked it. I suffered from abdominal diastasis throughout my pregnancy i was seen by the physio once who gave me a second hand tubigrip that did not fit around my bump. I've never been seen since even though ive left messages with the physio in question. Then there are the four hour waits to be seen by the consultant who treats you like you're lying. My husband had to shout at one to look me over the doctor refused and two days later I was rushed to hospital with a blood clot and placenta abruption, me and my baby nearly died. I had gestational diabetes and found the team to be a joke. When you have three high readings you're supposed to call - don't bother. They just shout at you for eating a fry up that i don't even like!

Judges everyone rather than helping. There is no communication between the diabetes team and the midwives so don't bother asking for their help. I'm sad I've had to write this, i have always championed this hospital, sadly I will no longer be using your services again. My daughter has recently been referred by my gp, i have expressly asked for another hospital.
