"Good service received"

Last Thursday evening

I broke my wrist and was taken by ambulance from Louth to Grimsby hospital. I was anxious and stressed and in pain. Paramedics were great and I had a very short wait before being x-rayed. X-ray department personnel were lovely. I was then taken to have my wrist 'manipulated'. The doctor on duty and their team were excellent, treating me kindly and with great humour which really helped !

The doctor did a wonderful job and i then was sent to the ward for an overnight stay. Lovely nurses who again made me feel better during the whole traumatic experience. The ward was clean and all staff were respectful, kind and made me feel so much better. The consultant was professional and kind, explaining my situation carefully. I could not have asked for better treatment. It was my very first experience of this sort and all of the staff I encountered made it as pleasant as it could be under the circumstances. The cleaning staff were lovely, as were the fracture clinic staff. My only problem is that i have to go back next week to see whether an operation is required. But at least I know that I will be in good hands. Thanks to all.
