"Poor admin, lack of after surgery care and long..."

Only found out about my surgery (c5/c6 spinal disc replacement) date when secretary rang to cancel pre op appointment which I knew nothing about. No information given after the surgery about what to expect or do. When I asked the nurse about this I was bluntly told "we don't do that".

My 8 week check up is scheduled for 12 weeks after surgery. As I am still in pain I am at a loss what to do.

On the plus side the nurses who looked after me before the op, in recovery and on the ward afterwards were fantastic, I couldn't have asked for better care.
