"Smooth as Clockwork"

Cardiac Angiography...I was ushered into the small specialist cardiac ward within a few minutes of arrival at MKGH; first specialist nurses and then the consultant explained what was planned. Within an hour I was on the operating table. Although it was all in a days work, the team made me feel special and throughout the surgeon answered my questions and assured me everything was going to plan. Back in the ward the consultant explained the results and further treatment. Cardiac nurses made sure I was fit for release and explained do's and don'ts for the next few days. . I was treated with care; kindness; and, most importantly skill throughout. My only adverse comment would be that perhaps it would save money, time and inconvenience if the follow up cardiac procedures could be carried out at MKGH, and, at the same time, rather than separately in Bedford or Oxford. Thank you to the Heart Pain Nurse and the Cardiac Angiography Team you were all excellent!
