What I liked

I injured my shoulder in a fall on the ice in December and have been in pain ever since.

I am getting excellent care from a Consultant at Kingston - but the Waiting Lists for every stage of my treatment are far too long. I must now wait at least 6 weeks for an ultrasound scan. On my first appointment I was erroneously booked in for the wrong Consultant at the wrong time on the wrong day and had to wait two hours in the Clinic before I was told this!

I am in pain and - as a freelance journalist - my injury threatens my career because most of my work is on computers - and keyboard work is painful. I cannot afford private treatment. The Waiting Lists for people in my situation are a problem that urgently needs tackling by the hospital's management team.
