"Endoscopy specifically Sigmoidoscopy"

About: Solihull Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

At a routine unpleasant examination, I was encouraged and put at ease by the staff. They showed sympathy and consideration to the pain I was expriencing due to inflation of my colon. Mentioned on the report were Mr Hawash, Sinead, Lisa, Karen, but also thank you to any others present. Also the after examination support was good. Thank you to the nurse who supplied the cup of tea and sandwich.

Dear David24

Thank you so much for your post regarding your recent sigmoidoscopy at Solihull Hospital.

I am so pleased to read you were shown sympathy and compassion throughout your experience.

I will ensure that your feedback is highlighted to Mr Hawash, as well as the Endoscopy Unit Manager and Matron who will communicate your feedback and thanks to all of the team involved in your care.

I hope this is acceptable and I do hope you are recovering well. Once again thank you for taking the time to provide your comments, patient feedback is extremely important and valuable to us.

Kind regards

Marie Helebert
