I was admitted to ward 64/66 for this planned surgery, having been in great pain for approximately 30 years. I was welcomed by Martin and the staff and treated very well prior to surgery. The operation went to plan and post surgery went extremely well. I would like to thank all staff involved in taking great care of me. Everyone was kind and caring and couldn't have made me feel more comfortable. I was discharged with precise after care instructions. I am looking forward to my final discharge from my consultant and surgeon, Mr Mavrakis. Although it's too early to tell the signs are good that I will no longer have any pain in my back or hips.
