About: Royal Free Hospital

(as the patient),

What could be improved

Procedure: Knee Anthroscopy

After giving me an initial appointment they made several attempts to change the dates that did not suit me. When I did arrive for my appointment it was cancelled. They gave me another date one month later.

Surgery OK, however before being discharged I was given no information as to how the procedure went or what was found. Told to wait for my follow up visit, 5 weeks later. On this date the surgeon could not find the notes and could not remember how it had gone.

The hospital have not contacted me to let me know what should happen next. No doubt I am classed as a successful procedure on their statistics.
