Over many years and on many occasions I have been waiting in queues for appointments and after all the patients have been seen, I feel like I have remained only to be told that my files had been lost. Recently I attended an appointment concerning my heart condition, the results of which were being awaited for by my GP and my doctor at Sunderland Royal General Hospital to be able to modify my medication and or treatment. Again, I was told that my files had been lost. Next I was booked an appointment to see a gynecology specialist. After waiting for 3 months, upon arrival I was told that the appointment had been cancelled and I feel like no explanation was given. My husband and I are disappointed with this treatment and I would like to complain. But from my husbands experience I feel like complaints are lost within admin. My husband discovered this when he complained about the treatment of his mother which he felt led to nothing.
