My problem- injected a small amount of cattle vaccine into my finger- this can cause necrosis. I was seen promptly @ Penrith, they looked up the chemicals concerned, discussed treatment options with me and all was resolved without incident. This department offers excellent care within its limited scope and I am grateful to avoid the long journey to Carlisle.
