Have been under the Gyneacology unit since 2008 for abnormal cervical cells and also endometriosis, now back here again after my doctor reffered me for PCOS. My doctor said they would probably give me a medication to help my ovaries release eggs again. However when I got there they had no notes from my previous visits so I had to explain all of my other previous problems with the 'junior' doctor quite insistent on exact dates. Which the doctor must have had on the screen in front of them as the doctor managed to bring up some results. The doctor then had to discuss with the actual consultant when they were free. A plan of action was devised. I was sent away with lots of paperwork and blood forms which the doctor forgot to put my details stickers on. What I find most appalling is the fact for my blood tests to see why I'm not getting pregnant I am sent to the ante natal clinic!!!! How insensitive that I have to go and sit with lots of ladies cooing over scan pictures and rubbing thier bumps. One time a lady must have read my paperwork I had on the table in front of me and swopped her number 5 for my number 9. She said it was cruel to make me sit there and she had been there herself. What an angel, more than I can say for any of the staff there. I have had many problems with other appointments in this unit and even had a very cross junior doctor in the colposcopy clinic March out to reception with me to get me an appointment with someone I should have been seeing not them. This clinic really is dire!
"Hate this unit"
