"Amd lucentis Injections"

I am a regular monthly attender to the eye clinic for Amd lucentis eye injections , The average time it takes to go through this process is 3 hours,on 3 occasions over 4hrs .

on some occassions I have done the eye test and scan , seen the consultant then been asked to come back the following week because its overbooked and I cant have the injection on that day, being of a working age this is extremely disruptive and awkward with my employer. On the 9 occassions I have visted the clinic I have seen 6 different consultants so have no continuity.. The main issue being only one room being used for the injections taking on average 20 mins per patient. some longer.

The staff are all very nice and work very hard and must be frustrated at the over booking that occurs on many occassions. A tea/coffee vending machine would also help the elderley patients often waiting long periods.
