"Cluster headaches are the most painful neurological complaint" quote from neurologist.
So you can appreciate my anger and upset after rushing to get my husband to leighton hospital a&e at 3.00 am one morning (with our 2 children), as told to by nhs 111, as he was having an attack that wasnt responding to prescribed medication. We were humiliatingly told by a uncompassionate and patronizing nurse when we got there (in the corridor may I add) that it isn't an a&e problem! and we could wait for out of hours doctors to reopen as the doctor in a&e would probably do nothing as they don't have access to that kind of medication, and it was an ongoing issue for our GP to sort out anyway. Granted we had ran out of medication by the time we got there, but really to receive such a rude reception in our hour of need was truly disappointing. Where does the government find these people to work within our nhs with such ignorance and lack of understanding it really is upsetting and annoying there really was no compassion combined with 0% effort. P.s sorry doesn't make it right.
