"Disgusting attitude and no patient care"

I was advised by my GP to have a repeat X Ray and to call a central number to arrange an appointment which could take 7 days. The GP appointment I had was in the next corridor to the walk in clinic. I asked the receptionist on my way out if they had the X Ray service available and was told yes and to take a seat. I was then called in by the nurse and I explained that the GP has asked that I have an X Ray. They told me that they would not do this as my injury was over two weeks old, this was an injury that had already been X rayed in this clinic and I was having other symptoms. After explaining this they went to speak with a colleague, they both returned to the room with their colleague who was apparently their superior, they explained very abruptly that they would not be doing any X Ray as they didn't think that I needed this, and to continue doing as I was doing. Neither the nurse or their superior looked at my injury and even though I explained I was in constant pain and the GP in the surgery in the next corridor had requested I have another X Ray she told me no they would not do this and that I had to call the number and arrange an X Ray which would take 5 to 7 days! The superior's attitude was far from caring and the patient care provided by them and the nurse was appalling! Avoid at all cost! I will be making a formal complaint.
