I went to the walk in centre and was treated for a uti. The following day the antibiotics hadn't started to work and felt worse so called 111 who referred me to out of hours. I was seen and sent to Branston ward for treatment (IV antibiotics and I'm also expecting twins-17 weeks pregnant)
On admission I was seen and treated within 3 hours .... I just wanted to thank everyone for their prompt and thorough service but most importantly as a staff member to praise Branston Ward Staff (House keepers, HCSW's and staff nurse's) for their kindness, care and compassion at a very vulnerable time for me .... We often hear the bad side of nursing care, never the good, so a very well done to everyone and makes me so proud to be part of such a wonderful team x
