I ended up in A&E on Friday 15 July following a fall and a badly fractured wrist.
I was transferred to the Orthopaedic Ward for an operation the following day, stayed there two nights, and then one night on the Gynae ward to free the Ortho bed for a more urgent case.
I was discharged on Monday 18th.
Absolutely everyone who attended to me, from student nurses to consultants, was professional, kind, caring, polite, and most of all, cheery at all times.
I can't praise them enough. They made a potentially horrible experience bearable.
The nurse on the Gynae ward even went to the bother of making me toast before I left as I was being discharged early and they didn't want me to miss breakfast.
Amazing staff!
I am impressed beyond measure as they are evidently under pressure, but still manage to attain high standards. Thank you all so much.
(BTW I deducted one star because of the food, which Isn't great, but that's not the staff's fault and needs addressing elsewhere.
Jamie Oliver?).
"Wonderful treatment"
