What I liked
I would like to thank A&E department for the care, support and assistance that was given to my husband when we had to use their service on the 9 of March. He was in horrible pain when we arrived ,we had to wait for about one hour until they start to examine him only because he was not able at that point to provide a urine sample which they needed to identify what the problem was.I can only say that we have been there for about 4hours,he was seen by quite a few doctors and nurses which are doing a great job!!! We have been lucky not needing to use A&E services before and with such bad publicity mainly from the press i did not know what to expect.I can only say a big thank you to all those professionals that looked after my husband and hope that other patients will see throught their pain that those guys are realy doing a great job!
Anything else?
Regarding the comment made by an other ex patient on you home page,i would like to add that we are residents in this country, but we do not have british passports or citizenship. We live and work here,we both have a strong accent when we speak the language of this country. However,i have not been asked for our passports and did not feel that the patient next to us,a native english speaker had been given better care than us.Where i come from, a doctor wont even look at you if he does not get cash in hand first(speaking from personal and family experience, not a hear-say).Lucky to have NHS, even with the long waiting list.Every one gets help, regardless of social or financial class.
