"An injured foot"

About: Okehampton Hospital / Minor injury unit

(as the patient),

A large piece of granite fell on my foot. I attended the minor injuries unit in Okehampton and it was suggested that I should have an X-Ray.

I arrived at A & E just before 6 p. m. Saw the Triage nurse 5 minutes later. By 6. 15 p. m. my foot had been X- Rayed. I saw the Nursing Sister at 6. 50 p. m. and left the hospital at 7 p. m. I experienced wonderful and kind treatment and I am pleased to say that they was no fracture detected. Once I have mastered the crutches I will be fine! !

Thank you

Dear patient

I was very pleased to note you had such prompt and good treatment. We no longer manage the Minor Injuries Unit at Okehampton Hospital, therefore I have passed your very positive comments on to the Practice Manager at Okehampton Medical Practice, where they will be warmly recieved and shared with the relevant staff.

Thank you for taking the time to log your comments, and I wish you well with your recovery.
