About: Pinderfields General Hospital

Why isn't there a Parkinsons Nurse now - its nearly 12 months since the previous one left or is it one of the many cutbacks.

Can see a GP but they are not the experts - cannot get to see a Consultant in between one appointment and another if needed - as clinics full - no feedback at all as too what help is out there - you have to search and research to find anything.

Last but not least why aren't Consultants seconded to Pontefract as they used to be prior to the Hospital being downgraded to a Diagnostics Unit - my husband has bad days and having to travel to Pinderfields is sometimes traumatic

The specialty is experiencing capacity issues presently as a number of consultants have left the Trust recently and recruitment of replacements does take time. We apologise for any delays which occur.
