About: Watford General Hospital

I was admitted to A & E with sepsis and having seen 2 doctors ,had blood taken etc was transfered to AAU Red Ward

They were fantastic but under tremendous pressure

So no problems until discharge

The 31/2 hour wait in the discharge lounge is a disgrace , I have complained over the system for at least 10 years and it does not improve .Why you cannot be given a prescription to take to your local chemist and wait 10 mins is beyond me

Will some one look into this please.

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear you had to wait so long. Will pass on your comment to the discharge team as we want to avoid recurrences of bad patient experience
