What I liked
I was in ward 15 for two nights for a turps opp.with five other patients more ill than me but the care I received could not have been better. The sympathetic and ever cheerful nurses, and the smiling young cleaners, were a tonic in themselves. The docters and surgeons were all polite and gave one every confidence with their direct and detailed briefing of the operation and after effects. The food and drink was tasty, the amount entirely adequate for recovering patients, despite some moans!
The discharge nurse gave a thorough and sensible list of what to expect and avoid over the recovery period. My wife was present and now knows that I am not allowed to do any household chores ever again(I think that is what they said!)
What could be improved
The waiting room could be improved with a little reorganisation and the removal of the large table taking up most of the room.
Anything else?
The Matron and the nursing Director are to be congratulated on having such nice and efficient team.
Many thanks for my care
