What I liked
I was a patient in U ward after a kidney donation at the end of February. From the moment I arrived I was treated with kindness and great care.
Nothing was too much trouble and everyone gave their best with great compassion. I watched 2 nurses help a gentleman with severe dementia to eat a meal, bringing every item on the dinner menu until they found a dish he liked.
Their patience and care was humbling.
The same dedication and cheerful attitude was obvious in all the staff - domestic to surgeon.
