"The drivers and ambulance staff have been excellent"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service

(as the patient),

A few years ago I had a hip replacement and attended the Crosshouse hospital for treatment, generally making my way there and back on the bus. Over the years I have developed a kidney condition and deterioration in my hip, which cannot be treated, making it very difficult for me to travel on the bus and have used the ambulance service for about three years.

The drivers and ambulance staff have been excellent, very attentive and helpful, I have never had to wait long after my appointments for an ambulance to bring me back home. The staff could not be nicer. I truly appreciate this service.
