Sometime ago I wrote to thank you for my treatment in the endoscopy department. I visited again last Saturday and received similar kind treatment. This time it was decided to keep me in overnight and I was in Ward 5 where I was checked regularly and visited by a doctor at 2a.m and had an X-Ray at 4a.m. The day nurses were similarly attentive. Thank you. I have one criticism. I experienced bleeding the following Wednesday and phoned the number on the back of the leaflet and although it says urgent I was left on hold for 15 minutes. I finally phoned the endoscopy dept direct and got advice. You read horrific headlines about the danger of attending hospitals at the week-end but I felt completely safe.Recently I have also attended the Rheumatology Department at the Nuffield and had a gall bladder removed at the Churchill and received the same kind dignified treatment
