"Excellent level and quality of care"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

My husband and I cannot rate the maternity birthing centre, ward and staff any higher. I am someone who has had a lot of problems with the NHS over the years and have always been of little faith until I needed to attend this hospital. The level of care was absolutely outstanding, I have never in my life felt more looked after from arriving at the hospital until leaving. The staff was consistently reassuring and caring and I was in there for a long time. The staff done everything they could to make sure that myself, the baby and my husband were all ok and this continued right through the different staff members we seen from swapping shifts. Again I cannot praise the staff here any higher and I would be fantastic if some of the senior management could read this, and the Thankyou card I have posted in to the birthing suite then award the members of staff who's care I was in throughout my stay some sort of recognition as I can assure you they each went above and beyond their role, especially the staff before and during the birth of my son.
