"Disgusting delays in the cardiac ward 33"

About: Glenfield Hospital

Currently waiting for an angiogram. Been here 8 days so far. Still no word on when. I realise urgent cases get priority but apparently consultants going on holiday and no cover being provided is ok. While the patients get more ill, the doctors have a lovely time. Don't get told what's happening, when it might happen or what the problem is. I have had a brilliant time in other wards but this one is terrible. Glenfield - you should be ashamed.

Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

I am really sorry to hear that you have been unhappy with the service provided at Glenfield Hospital and that there has been a lack of communication with regards to arranging your angiogram.

I would like to look into your concerns in more detail, so if you are happy for me to do so, please email your name, address, date of birth and hospital number to myself, Nigel Brady at nigel.brady@uhl-tr.nhs.uk, so I can investigate this further.

Once again I am very sorry to hear you have disappointed with the service provided at Glenfield Hospital.

Kind regards,

Nigel Brady,

Operational Manager,

Cardiology & Cardiac Surgery
