(as the patient),

I went to visit my doctor to discuss social anxiety, which you can probably imagine is quite hard in itself. I was pretty worried about speaking to someone and was worried they might laugh or say I was being silly. But the Doctor was really helpful, supportive and gave advice to help me out and explained that she also has social anxiety and the things she has done to try and help her.
