"visiting xray department"

I visited Chorley hospital for an xray in June 2016. It was the first time I had used a hospital service for at least twenty years. I was very surprised and pleased as to how quickly I got an appointment (actually I was invited to go straight away!!). The department was clean and bright, the reception staff were polite and professional and I was seen within ten minutes of arriving. The xray took less than ten minutes, again with courteous and professional staff. I had to wait three weeks for the results, but other than that it was a very good experience and nice to be able to use the NHS service that seems to get such negative publicity.
