I had my second baby via planned c section here at the end of April, I was a little concerned about what the experience would be like after hearing horror stories about queens however I couldn't have had better care, my partner and I were so impressed.
Every single member of staff we encountered were professional, friendly and made me feel completely at ease. I had had my first child at st Thomas hospital in London and although the labour ward was fantastic, the aftercare in the post natal ward left me feeling a bit less than satisfied. In comparison I couldn't fault the post natal wars at queens, they were less rushed and when I was having a rough night with my baby who wouldn't let me put him down a couple of the midwives came and sat and held him for me for as long as they could so I could at least get 15-20 minutes rest. Even the cleaning staff and ladies that bring your food were lovely and all said congratulations. Well done queens!
